SECURECHAIN is a renewable energy project supported by the European Union’s research and innovation programme ‘Horizon 2020’ (http://www.securechain.eu/). The main goal is to promote sustainable bioenergy chains in the rural area, which fulfil high environmental standards and are economically viable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). On 7 June 2018, the SECURECHAIN project organised its final workshop in Brussels.

The BioVill project was invited to presents its project and the impact on SMEs. On behalf of the BioVill Consortium, Dominik Rutz gave a presentation on “Biomass from marginal land and Bioenergy Villages: FORBIO and BioVill”.
